Suggest Cure For A Swollen Labia Minora

Just had a pap 3 mnths ago and all was good. This past sat. morning I got in tanning bed, immediately followed by a shower as normal. This was the last day of my period. I removed my tampon (unscented as always). My husband and I went to have intercourse, which he sort of had to force it in. Immediately, I felt pain, like a dry burning. This lasted during and after. I noticed my left labia minora is red and swollen and on the inside of there is a redder spot. It is not a blister, looks like maybe a cut however, it is not open (of course it is 3 days later). I do take birth control pills and librax. When I walk it feels as if there is a dry object in there, only on that side. It doesnt burn when I pee but it does burn if pee touches it. It is a mix between burning and itchy at the same time. Mostly just discomfort. Any idea what this could be. I have noticed a slight change in discharge. Not real heavy but more than normal. No foul smell. Mostly normal, maybe a little fishy.
