Hi,

It is common to experience nasal congestion and shortness of breath as a result of allergies. In addition to taking allergy medications such as Allegra, there are several other steps you can take to help relieve your symptoms.
1. Use a saline nasal spray or rinse: This can help to clear out excess mucus and relieve nasal congestion.
2. Use a humidifier: Adding moisture to the air can help to soothe irritated nasal passages and ease breathing.
3. Avoid triggers: Try to avoid any allergens or irritants that may be triggering your symptoms, such as pollen or cigarette smoke.
4. Elevate your head: Sleeping with your head elevated can help to reduce nasal congestion and make it easier to breathe.
5. Exercise regularly: Regular physical activity can help to improve lung function and reduce allergy symptoms.

If your symptoms persist or worsen despite these measures, it is important to seek medical attention from a healthcare provider. They may recommend additional medications, such as nasal corticosteroids or bronchodilators, or other treatments such as allergy shots or immunotherapy to help manage your symptoms.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
