Suggest Cure For Bruise On My Wrist

i got a bruise on my wrist while playing volleyball. not sure when i did it. but looked down to see it very swollen. i thought i broke it. but a lady there just said broke a blood vessel. anyway there is a ache n sharp pains that r going through my hand now. the brusie is pretty big. this happened monday night and it is still swollen. should i see the doc? do you think i could have a fracture?
