Suggest Cure For Dry Cough With Phlegm

I am having dry cough, with phlegm to be spit, on many occasions. Usual cough syrup medicines have not helped for over a fortnight. Friend advise me to take Zevit capusule one per day for a week as it is said to sooth the throat muscles, avoiding the cough spasms. Is ZEVIT effective in such cases ?

Thanks for your question on HCM. In my opinion you are having upper respiratory tract infection. So try to folloe this.
1. Avoid oily and spicy food.
2. Take azithromycin 500 mg once daily for 5 days.
3. Take antihistamines and anti inflammatory drugs for 5 days.
4. Warm water gargles 5-6 times daily.
Zevit is multivitamin with zinc. So no harm in taking it. But I advice you to start above things with capsule zevit. This will help you more.
