Suggest Cure For Fissure In The Perineum

I have a fissure in the perenium area between vagina and anus, It feels like a small cyst under skin. Health Department said it would go away by itself.No intercourse and sitz baths. What else can I do to get rid of this?? Does the fact that I have lupus cause this condition?
