Hello, Welcome to HCM,
Fungal infections are more common in the genital and perineal area as these are the normal comensals of this area, which will be kept under control by helpful organisms whenever there is a change in the environment these yeast will activate produce their symptoms.
As you are having the symptoms of fungal infection for which you have taken some treatment but your symptoms has not come down, I would suggest you to undergo lab investigations like KOH mount, CBC and urine routine examination.
For your symptoms you can try these measures 1.Keep the area clean and dry with the help of neosporin powder. 2.Apply antifungal cream over the lesions 3.Tab Diflucan, 150 mg single dose. 4.Oral antihistamines to reduce the symptoms of itching. Thank you.
