Suggest Cure For Pain And Swelling In Foot

my knee gave way, and twisted my ankle almost fell, heard a loud pop. It was badly swollen for a couple of days now about 4 days later swelling has decreased but painful when I move it up and down. Swelling and pain mostly on top left hand side of my left foot. Can you help?
