Suggest Cure For Partially Ruptured Tendon

stepped of a step and got a sharp pain in my achilles tendon now its very tender and a little swollen. I need to walk alot for work I was wondering is there somthing I can do to dull the pain and or make sure I dont injur it further? After alot of reasearch it appears i may have a partialy ruptured tendon
