Suggest Cure For Patches Appearing On The Tongue

I am finding gradual patch marks on the upper surface of my tongue. it is one sort of tongue upper surface erosion. visited so many doctors, but it is getting cured and again appearing after few days. please suggest. my mail address: YYYY@YYYY

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

As per your complain gradual appearance of erosive patches over the tongue can be :
1.If it is in the form of smooth patches it can be Benign Migratory Glossitis also known as Geographic Tongue,and the patches keeps recurring after every few days and can even last for months together.
It is mostly genetic in origin while the exact cause of it is unknown..
2. Another cause can be Atrophic Candidiasis that is a Fungal infection and causes formation of eroded, raw and painful areas over tongue..
You should consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and if required a biopsy of the lesion can be done to confirm the diagnosis..
If it is due to geographic tongue there is no specific treatment that can be done and the treatment is supportive like avoiding spicy foods,taking zinc supplements and if there is soreness or pain anaesthetic mouthwash and painkillers can help..

If it is a fungal infection anti-fungal medication like Nystatin mouthwash and ointments, oral antifungals, clotrimazole lozenges and increased intake of probiotics like Yoghurt will help..
