Suggest Diet For Acute Pancreatitis

Hi, i am 29 yrs old i had acute pancreatitis in last november'10, then gallbladder stone is detedcted, after removal of gallbladder in january,'11, pancreatitis again is happened in june'11, what will i do? doctor said that it is cause intake of lots of oily food.will i never be able for normal diet after lapcholy?what will be the diet?

Hi thanks for contacting HCM...

Noted you had gall stone and gall bladder removed ...
You had pancreatitis also at that time which is secondary to talk stone...
So for that rest needed....
Antibiotic given with supportive measures....

As gall bladder removed there is no reservoir for bile and cholecystokinin not secreted...
So fatty diet not digested easily...
So less fatty food taken...

Junk food and non veg taken very less...

Fruits taken more....

Avoid alcohol....

Consult gastroentetologist for further opinion..
