Suggest Diet To Be Given During Uterus TB Treatment

Hi Doctor,My wife has been detected with Uterus TB.. because of which she had misscarrage. Now she is taking ATT treatments. So i want to know what are the best diet to be given to her during Uterus TB treatment ? and what is the possibility of getting her conceive again?

Hello,

You can eat anything but keep in mind that patient should not be malnourished. Also, drugs cause peripheral neuropathy so diet is to be rich in vit B12. Patient becomes immuno compromised in TB, therefore, take vit C rich fruits

Also, plenty of whole grain cereals through bread, etc. Are to be taken. Also it is difficult for the body at this stage to digest saturated fats. Therefore unsaturated fats like olive oil is recommended.

Think of buying a fruit based with fruits of all colors. Include bright colored ones like tomatoes, cherries and blueberries. Refined products like sugar, white bread, white rice etc. to be avoided. Also, skip tobacco, no alcohol, caffeine is to be kept in controlled limits.
