Suggest Dosage For Amoxicillin, Azithromycin And Penicillin
Hi. My question is, my daughter weight is 94lbs, and she has strep throat. The Dr have her clindamycin because of allergies to amoxicillin, azithromyacin, and penicillin. Rhe dosage is what my question is about. She was prescribed 2 300mg q 8 hr. Is this correct? It seems like a high dosage to me.

I really appreciate your concern, if this is really infection then what ever the dose she is given is correct and it is not the high dose and no need to worry about this hope this information helps.
