Suggest Dosage For Amoxicillin And Erythromycin

Hi, doctor, I m so worried cause, i have a upper endoscopy my doctor found ulcers and bacteria in my stomach. She prescribed to me, amoxicillin 500 mg and erythromycin 500mg. I have to take two amox an 1 erythro twice a day after meals. I thinks is too much doses for me, in total is 2000 of amoxicillin per day and 100 of erythromicin. I safe for me to take that?

Hi,

Probably the dose given to you is to act against H. pylori bacteria which is known to cause ulcers in the stomach. You can take along with tablet pantoprazole.
