Suggest Dosage For Duphaston When Diagnosed With PCOD

Im on my 2months menstruation , this is my second time irregular bleeding. I have PCOS, and the doctor adviced me to take Duphaston 10mg tab once a day for 10 days July 16-25. Today is july 9, when shound I take duphaston? I really forgot to ask if I should take it now or ill start taking it on july 16? I still have small amount spotting today. MY doctor said to Comeback tonher vlinic once I have menstrual cycle again, whether im not yet finish taking duphaston im so confused.

Hello,
Thanks for sharing your health concern with us. Usually, when progesterone is advised in such a situation, it is to be taken from day 15/16 for ten days following which there should be withdrawal bleeding. Please contact your consultant if you are still in doubt. If you are experiencing continuous bleeding at present, progesterone has to be taken immediately to control the same.
