Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Dear Doctor, I am 35 year old women having 2 kids, sometimes i take Zincovit, Evion 200, Shelcal 200, Beplex forte as a counter medicens, but not everything together. What is the right way to take it daily the above medicens? Also please suggest when to take what and before food or after food
dear friend it will be better if you just take simple calcium tablets plain ones without vit d available by many brand name one that comes to my mind now is coral calcium, if you do not have vitamin deficiency there is no need to take them unnecessarily a good balanced diet with plenty of greens and fruits will take care of your requirements.
one has to be careful in consuming the fat soluble vitamins namely E, D AND K these can accumulate in the body causing hypervitaminosis.
the water soluble ones namely the vit B group will pass of in urine wasting most of it if there is no deficiency so please stick to healthy eating rather than taking the short cut by popping pills. the medicines are best take after food until and unless specified other wise that they have to be taken on empty stomach. hope it answers your questions
