Suggest Dosage For Udiliv While Having Fatty Liver Disease

Hi, My husband ( 54yrs ) was diagnosed with fatty liver in Jan 2015, test results of sgot and sgpt being 41 and 51 respectively. He was prescribed udiliv 300 one tab per day, at first he was taking this tab as prescribed but gradually he started taking this twice a day. He is a regular drinker ( within limits ), smoker, has hypertension, taking covance 50 as well. Is udiliv 300 twice a day safe for him to continue? Please advice.

Hi ! I had gone through your question and I understand your concern .

Udivil Is a good drug that we use for gallstones in gallabander It work by reducing the cholesterol production and also dissolving cholesterol .
The normal use is 300 mg twice a day for 2-3 month .
Is not good to drink alcohol while taking this drug .
I would advice to stop using drinking alcohol cause aslso it is one of The season of having fatty liver .
If he is overweight - have to loose weight .) low faty food)
Reduce smoking

Check the liver every month during the first 3 month .
