Suggest Dosage For Zentel For A Child

We are a family of four traveling in Tanzania. We have now started with symptoms of having worms and want to treat the hole family with zentel (albendazole). But I am a bit unsure how much to give my youngest child. He is 6 months, But already 11,5 kg. He is still Breastfeeding . Wich dosage should he get??

Hi,

Zentel is an anti-helminthic drug used to treat worm infestations. The dose for the child is 200 mg single dose at night after food. One dose is sufficient for the child.
