Suggest Dosage Of Azithromycin 250mg For Pneumonia
My 15 yr old daughter was prescribed Azithromycin 250 mg tablets for 5 days because of pneumonia. The first dose was to be two tablets. After two days she is not feeling much better and we realized she only had one tablet for the first dose. Should we give her a double dose now?
500mg po on day one, followed by 250mg on day 2 to 5 have to be given, and start again with 2 tablet from starting. Blood culture and sensitivity to be followed [gram stain acid fast stain]. If recovery is not happening. She can join art excel art of living online course for stress on mind due to pneumonia [include child yoga, breath exercise definitely prevent future episode and fast recovery].
