Suggest Dosage Of Prednisone For Hives

My daughter is on prednisone for hives from an unknown allergy. She took one yesterday at 11:30 a.m and today at 5:00 a.m. It is now 8:00 p.m and she is coughing a little and the hives are on her neck face. Can she take another pill now even though it is not 24 hours?

I really appreciate your concern for your daughter as long as the question of treatment of steroid and allergic condition are concern, steroid need to be taken in tapper manner and this can not be used for one day but it is complete course of medicine which last for week and during this dose of steroid goes on reducing gradually, better to discus this with doctor, take care.
