Suggest Effective Treatment For Disc Herniation Causing Tingling Sensation In Face

What treatment is commonly recommended for herniation of C2-3 & C3-4? I have already had cervical surgery at levels 4-5 & 5-6. :-( I had good range of motion after my second surgery but now it is limited due to the pain I ve been experiencing. I have been also experiencing weird sensations of my face and head. Tingling, feels swollen but doesn t look swollen and my gets incredibly hard to keep open, even though I don t feel tired. Could the herniation so be causing these odd sensations.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The primary care of concern with the disc herniation at cervical region is collar support. After collar support, assisted physiotherapy is best way to help the recovery before approaching for MRI evaluation and surgical opinion.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
