Suggest Effective Treatment For Ear Infection Causing Drainage From Ears

If a person has no medical coverage and a 1 year old with an ear infection draining from the ear with a prescription that she can not fill because of finances, where can they get this medication for their child at no cost to them. She lives in Atlanta, I live in California.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have ear infection causing drainage from ears. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like ear infection , trauma with Q-tip or swimmer's ear . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper checkup . Doctor may order CT scan or examine ear with otoscope . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like gentamycin , corticosteroid ear drops along with anti inflammatory . For now keep your ear dry and apply warm compresses ( dry ) on external ear .
