Suggest Effects Of Radiation During Cervical Cancer

My sister-in-law had cervical cancer and after her radiation she developed blood clots in her legs, she ws told that the radiation was given to close to a lump node. 1) is there an issue if radiation is given to close to a lump node. 2) What treatment is used to eliminate the blood clots?

sometimes they are suppose to give close to lymph nodes because of there involvement ,if clots are outside the blood vessels these will subside gradually in a period of time even without treatment if clots are in blood vessels then it is important to get treated
