Suggest Exercises To Eliminate Clear Mucous In Nose

I was diagnosed with a paralyzed right phrenic nerve in November 2014 and I have seen significant improvement in my stamina and breathing. I still bring up clear mucous during the day and I would like to eliminate it. Do you have any exercises I can do?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of paralysis of the right Phrenic nerve in November 2014 and there is good recovery. You are still getting a clear mucus during the day and want to eliminate that.

I would suggest you the following exercises as asked by you:
- Chest physiotherapy as will be taught to you by the Physiotherapist. In this you have to lie down on you side and one have to stroke the upper side of the chest with curved flat of pals. This will loosen up the mucus which you can expel out easily.
- Deep breathing exercises
- Steam inhalations of plain water, nothing to be added, please.

All these measures will help you.
