Suggest Fitness Regime To Be Followed After Rectus Muscle Divarication Surgery

i have just had surgery for divarication of the rectus muscle. The surgeon said it could return in a couple of years. What excercise can i do after the wound heals. to stop this return. i am 48 years old, female and quite large although have recently lost 2 and half stone and still loosing.
