Suggest Food Diet Apart From Breast Milk For A New Born
Hi doctor, my sister isn t producing milk to breast feed her infant so cow milk is being given to her baby but baby is losing weight nd getting weak day by day. Baby s skin got loose on cheeks & on other parts too. Lactogen also was given to the baby after which baby caught up with infection. wt should we feed to the baby?? Baby is in machine now in hospital nd not out of danger.

Cow milk should not be given to infants.
The infant’s gut is not suitable for cow milk.
You can opt for infant formula like similac.
The mother can take drugs like lactare or domperidone to increase milk production.
