sir,around 10 days back my baby weighing 2.3 kg.since mothers milk is insufficient ,doc recomended satavari dabur company 2 tab after recomended 30 minutes before 1 tab 3 times mexiron tab but sufficient milk is not coming10ml come after 4 and five hour ,iswe started lactodex one plz suggest me

Hi,

Thanks for posting in HCM.

I understand your concern that the milk is insufficient to feed the baby.
You can use formula milk to feed in case the milk is insufficient.

But take care the bottle and nipples are steralised properly in hot water before they are re-used. You need to maintain strict hygiene in this regard.

You can use Nanpro - 1 formula or Dexolac formula for top feeds. Kindly go through the instructions for its proper preparation.

However, even if the breast milk is insufficient, you need to continue it and should not stop it because you have started top feeds.
