I have been trazodone for sleep, not sure when I should take, or can you suggest another that will let me sleep a good 8 hours? I wake at 3 or 4 AM to use the bathroom and can never fall back to sleep. I am retired and days are to long. Please help me with another suggestion? I use to take ambien, but had to stop because of the cost, it was wonderful. I was told there is a generic for this, would you tell me the name? Thanks for your time.. YYYY@YYYY

There are sleep hygiene techniques that might help you with your sleep, they are available online but some of them are: (1)try not to nap in the day (2)no tv in the bedroom or reading in bed (3)no exercise for 2 hours before bedtime (4)When you have problems falling asleep, get out of bed if a 10 mins pass. Do something relaxing for a few minutes then return
