Suggest Home Remedies To Drain The Stuck Food In Throat

Grain of rice (fried rice from Chinese restaurant, if relevant for some reason) stuck in throat, no trouble breathing but the irritation (for lack of a better word) is annoying. Been there for ~5 hours now. Any home remedies? Or is this actually potentially serious?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is not likely going to cause any immediate harm, it should go down on its own.

The fact that it is not causing any difficulty swallowing is most important right now. If you are able to swallow your saliva, food and drink efficiently and without pain then that's good.
With your normal food and drink intake, it would go down on its own.

I hope this helps
