Hi,

Atopic dermatitis is a chronic disease which may not be possible to be cured fully. What we can do is to control the disease by regular use of a moisturising cream (home remedy) and avoiding any triggering agents. Take antihistamines like Levocetirizine for itching when needed. There can be intermittent flare ups, which will definitely need topical steroids to control, for which you can follow up with a dermatologist.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
