Suggest Homeopathy Medicine For Sinus

Hi,
I just had a sinus operation and was googling for information about blood clotting etc which was answered nicely.

My question that leads from this is how on earth a real trained Doctor could recommend homeopathic medicine as a treatment for post sinus surgery? Either they are a believer in placebos for healing but can't prescribe them themselves for ethical reason - or the whole Avagadro's number thing went wooosh over your head? There is no possible explanation for the "effects" of homeopathy - and even the much vaunted "meta-study" cited by homeopath apologists showed no more effect than placebo when it was closely examined. Don't even start on water clusters. I'm a bit disgusted to be honest.

Hello
I appreciate your concern and raising the question on the mode of treatment in homoeopathy and there applicability in surgical or [post surgical cases.
Actually this is a matter of big debate and can not be solved with few question (doubt) and explanation.
Coming to your question every medicine is (Allopathy , Ayurveda and ) prepared from the finest and potentise form of any material
for example Medicine Digoxin which is a allopathic preparation is prepared from Digitalis where homeopathic medicine is prepared from the same manner using other route of preservation for the medicine.
So there is no big difference in the medicine and there action.
The only reason between to that in allopathy many research has been carried opt which prove the efficacy of medicine while other mode of treatment including homeopathy is underdeveloped in terms of research and publication.
Similarly there are some medicine which has good result in post surgical cases.
Effect of medicine can be only observed if taken properly.
Homeopathy is not only placebo. Placebo is a part of homeopathy where in some case pseudo-medicine is prescribed to the patient and it has its own theory.

Hope i have clear your doubt and if feel to discuss on this matter we welcome your query to answer.

Thanks
Dr Ratnesh
