Hello,

The x-ray of the spine shows the following features:
The vertebrae separated by intervertebral space. This intervertebral space reduced, and this occurs most often with degeneration. Besides increased intervertebral space, there is the formation of osteophytes also.

Osteophytes are bony spurs formed on the surface of the vertebrae. The presence of osteophytes suggests osteoarthritis of the spine. You need to consult your orthopedician for further management of the condition.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri
