Suggest Investigations To Diagnose Knee Pain

My Mother has been detected with UTI â?? puss cells in Urine.
We are getting her treated and we have got the ultrasound done as well.
But during the last 10 days, she has developed severe pain in her knees and facing truble in getting up and down.
The doctor has prescribed the Gentamycin injections and other antibiotics.
Kindly guide which test should be go for getting the cause of her knee Pain.
Also she constantly has fever , which may be due to Puss cells.
Please help in getting the fever and pain diagnosed.
