What can you tell me about long term Prognosis for Cauda Equina Syndrome when the patient is not Decompressed within the Allotted 48 hours. The CES was caused by a T12 L1 Herniation. The Doctor found multiple free floating pieces of disc free floating in the spinal canal. The surgery was supposed to take 90 minutes but took over 7 hours because of the limited space.It has been 4 months since surgery and I have had no improvement in pain levels or weakness what so ever.
