Suggest Me Treatment For Chest Pains Due To Coughing.

I have been sick for about a month now fighting off all of theses sicknesses. At first, it started with a fever and puking after I took vitamin c and zinc. Then, I had a wet uncontrollable cough for a long time that was the worst when I laid down and when I first woke up. Now, I have slight chest pains from coughing so much lately and my phlem is thick and yellow and stuck at the back of my throat. It feels kind of numb as well.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have chest pains due to coughing which seem to be due to upper respiratory tract infection. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like COPD , bronchitis , acid reflux or angina. Need not to worry. If there is shortness of breath, dizziness and fatigue then consult cardiologist without any delay . If there is no such symptoms then consult chest specialist for proper examination. Doctor may order x-ray , blood test and physical examination . Doctor may prescribe steroids , antihistamines , antibiotics along with anti inflammatory. Avoid outside food and cold carbonated beverages. For now take steam and do warm saline gargles.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Get Well Soon.

Best Wishes,
