Suggest Me Treatment For Lump In My Vagina As Test Were Negative?
I have an itchy lump in my vaginal orifice. It looks like a haemorrhoid, and the area surrounding it is swollen. It is right in the middle of my vaginal opening, not on the labia either side. It was very very painful and now is just itchy, it initially flared up whilst I was having sex with my partner. Before he and I got together, I had a full sexual health test and it came back negative however he has not had one recently. Im not sure if this is anything sexually transmitted though because it was the first time we had slept together and although we didn't use a condom, it came on immediately. It is red, swollen and extremely itchy. The pain was like a burning, raw pain
Your symptoms seem to be related to Bartholini cyst. I suggest sitz baths. Soaking in a tub filled with a few inches of warm water several times a day for three or four days may help a small, infected cyst to rupture and drain on its own. I also suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the pain. If the symptoms continue, antibiotics may be needed.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
