Suggest Medical Tests To Rule Out Ectopic Pregnancy
My ultrasound was diagnosed with suspicious ectopic pregnancy. My ob told me to do the follow up transV to make sure, but the second transV went out the same. And she told me to do the transV again week after the second transV. I was having my menstruation during this last 2 transV but as of now my bleeding stop. It is very confusing why they cant trace if i am having a Ectopic pregnancy. Im very afraid because my blood test went out as weak positive. But stil i have to wait for the next result of my transV. It is very confusing. The more days past the more im terrified.
The transvaginal ultrasound has to be combined with blood levels of BHCG to have a better understand if a patient is having an ectopic pregnancy or not. If BHCG is under 1500, it may happen that pregnancy is not diagnosed with ultrasound. If BHCG is over 1500 and no pregnancy is noticed in the uterus, then it is considered ectopic pregnancy and the right treatment is initiated.
As long as BHCG is under 1500 the ectopic pregnancy cannot be ruled out or diagnosed, so the doctors have to see you repeatedly.
I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
