Suggest Medical Treatment For Inflamed Vagina And Boils On Buttocks

Hi my vigina is itchy and red and I am starting to develop small boils on my right buttoc. I am not sexually active but I think I am sensitive to poor toilet hygeine as this tends to happen to me annually... Although the boils are the first. What should I do?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi.
As per your case history of boils and inflamed vagina, my treatment advice is -
1. Maintain good hygiene and bath twice daily.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on boils and an antifungal cream like clotrimazole cream twice daily on vagina.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral fluconazole taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
Dr. Harshit bhachech.
MBBS, DDVL.
