Suggest Medication For A Swelling In The Knee

I was out on friday night, and fell over and injured my knee, there was severe pain at the time. and i got seen by a paramedic, they spoke to my parents and decided that instead of facing the long waiting times at A&E i should go home. However, the knee is swollen and is very painful to bend and to put any weight on it. I have dislocated this knee before and it feels similar to when that happened. Should i get seen by a DR?
