Suggest Medication For A Swollen Thumb

hi i fell on my hand a week ago my thumb is very swollen and my 1st finger the palm of my hand and up to my wrist is black its very painful when i move my thumb opening jars etc an xray showed no boney injury but i am in pain it is getting worse thanks
