Suggest Medication For Acne

Hi there i have been struggling with acne for almost 4 years now i am 14 now Asian American boy. I keep getting new pimples in different spots. Say if an area where pimples clear up, a different area would bring new pimples. Why s that. I have also been taking teens for boys multi vitamins would this work with acne problems. Are there any pills that treat acne fast if there are can you please name them? Also my skin is discolored like in darker in some areas on my face why s that. Also i have used OVER thousands of different acne solutions none have work although one seems to work a little and doesn t work sometimes - http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp?pid=518670&catid=182267&aid=338666&aparam=518670&kpid=518670&CAWELAID=0000&CAGPSPN=pla&kpid=518670 also is it okay to just squeeze alot of the cream and just to cover the whole face with the cream, cause i have been doing it for about 2 yrs now and i think the cream has discolored my face?

Hi,

As per your complain pimples can occur due to causes like:
- Clogged pores
- Oily skin
- Hormonal Imbalances
- Bacterial infection
- Inflammation
- Excess sun exposure etc.

You should consult a dermatologist and get evaluated and he can advise you to wash your face with Salicylic acid containing face wash. Apply topical ointment containing Clindamycin and Benzoyl Peroxide. Apply retinoids like Adapelene gel in thin layer on pimples at night time. Do cool compresses over face. Exfoliate your face twice a week to unclog the pores and remove dead skin. You can also apply a sunscreen lotion when exposed to sun. Oral Medication like antibiotics like Clindamycin or Minocycline and retinoid like Isotretinoin can also be advised. Avoid oily food.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
