Suggest Medication For An Infection In The Anus Causing Chronic Itching
I have chronic itching right inside and around my anus. There is a slippery clear substance that comes out. I am a male and not gay. Nothing foriegn has entered my anus. I wake myself up at night scratching my anus till it bleeds unconsiously! What could it be?!
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Itching around anus could be due to two reasons: 1. Pin worm infestation. 2. Fissure in ano. First you can take antithetical Tablet.Albendazole as a single dose for de-worming. You can repeat another dose in about a week or ten days later. In case it does not subside, you need get evaluated for fissure in ano by consulting Surgeon and getting it treated by cryosurgery accordingly. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
