Suggest Medication For An Infection In The Anus Causing Chronic Itching

I have chronic itching right inside and around my anus. There is a slippery clear substance that comes out. I am a male and not gay. Nothing foriegn has entered my anus. I wake myself up at night scratching my anus till it bleeds unconsiously! What could it be?!

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Itching around anus could be due to two reasons:
1. Pin worm infestation.
2. Fissure in ano.
First you can take antithetical Tablet.Albendazole as a single dose for de-worming. You can repeat another dose in about a week or ten days later.
In case it does not subside, you need get evaluated for fissure in ano by consulting Surgeon and getting it treated by cryosurgery accordingly.
