good morning doctor.i have 1 question about my neice. she is 17 year old.since 2 years she is complaining of redness and sticky discharge from both eyes.steroids and antibiotics give her temporary relief.doctors name it as some allergic condition.but thers no relief.now they have suggsted some injection in eyelid and laser surgery.and are stating that its not permanant and symptoms will return again.they are also stating thatr it might cause permanant blindness what should i do?in am very worrired.
it is very confusing history. not under stood why steroid was started. simple antibiotic drop would have been enough. steroid is indicated when there is seviour allergy or auto immune dis order.you should take second opinion, since laser surgery and blind ness are not under stood.
