Suggest Medication For Belching And Bloated Stomach While On Eltroxin
Sir I was diagnosed with antral gastritis last year and underwent medication.Felt better but again bleaching and fullness of stomach is troubling me of lste ,am on eltroxin .75 MCG and taking it empty stomach daily since 8 years for Thyroid.Kindly advice medication Thanks

Hi,
Proton pump inhibitor. I suggest a course of stomach acid suppressant like pantoprazole for about 4-6 weeks. I also advise you to undergo tests to rule out Helicobacter pylori infection.
For best results eltroxin should always be taken on an empty stomach with a glass of water one hour before breakfast.
Pantoprazole may be taken also on an empty stomach one to two hours after taking eltroxin.
