Suggest Medication For Blocked, ringing Ear Post Treated Middle Ear Infection

Hi, I have had a middle ear infection which was treated by antibiotics. The Doctor said yesterday that the ear drum is no longer red, however, I have a blocked and ringing ear which is driving me crazy. I can pop it but it just blocks up again straight away. How long will this go on for? Would an antihistamine help?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
I have gone through your query and in your condition antihistamine and Mucolytics should be helpful.
I also suggests you plain water steam inhalation as much as possible.

thanks
