Suggest Medication For Bump Inside The Labia Majora

Hello.I have been getting ingrown hairs quite a bit since I started waxing my bikini area in the last couple of years. However, in the last few months I have become sexually active and after waxing had a skin colored bump on my labia majora, which seemed to be under the skin with no head. I tried to squeeze it very hard and it became larger and for a few days was painful, until after further squeezing some pus like discharge came out of it and it flattened. A few months later the same spot became inflamed again but was generally painless and after I squeezed it, again it produced discharge and flattened. After the discharge came out the bump became much smaller but it still feels like there is something soft and fleshy inside. There is no ulcer like sore or anything like that, but the remaining bump is smooth and almost like a scar, pea size. I went to my gynecologist last week and because I had tried to lance it the night before there were three small red pinprick marks which he said looked like a cluster so he said although it looked like it was probably an ingrown hair he would test for stds just to rule them out. I contacted him to tell him that I thought it is a sebaceous cyst as I had a whitish pinkish discharge and he said I can come tomorrow to have it removed but I am just worried that he was not able to tell me this definitively upon examination himself because from what I have read I do not have any of the other symptoms of any std. I cannot sleep and am so worried, please can you give any definitive advice? If it were not a cyst would it have just emitted discharge and then reduced in size the way it did and not resulted in any kind of open sore etc?
