Suggest Medication For Burnt Marks On Hand And Chest

hello doctor, i have burnt my some portiond on my hand and also some portions on my chest with hot oil . it left a white mark after that. i used melacare cream after it healed. bt it still has the proper white mark. can you suggest any oinment for that?

Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

You seem to have debveloped post-inflammatory hypopigmentation/depigmentation, which is very common after a burn.

Rather than using melacare which would is actually given to lighten hyperpigmentation, I would suggest that you use a moderately potent topical steroid e.g fluticasone propionate cream twice daily OR a topical immunomodulator e.g tacrolimus ointment twice daily for a few days. Either of them would be effective in inducing repigmentation from existing hair follicles
