Suggest Medication For Chronic Cough And Cold
Dear Doctor, Im suffering past 3years from cold & cough,one of my known doctor suggested me to use Monticope tablet for cold for 3 months after 3months also my situation was same so i continued more than a year not yet still stopped,if i stop using that tablet no sleep,lack of breathing problem,they is any solution for this.Please kindly suggest me a solution doctor.

well,it seems that your doctor didnt made any efforts to find out the exact underlying cause for your symptoms and just gave you the medicine....it is not at all a good idea to keep on taking medicines blindly without finding out the root cause and treating it,moreover you are taking tablet monticope since more then 1 year which is again not the right thing to do because it can cause certain side effects and taking a medicine for so long without knowing what the exact problem is,can cause more harm than benefit...if i were your treating doctor i would have advised you to first and foremost get these tests done for making a precise diagnosis--
(1) COMPLETE HEMOGRAM
(2) XRAY OF CHEST
(3) XRAY OF PARANASAL SINUS
(4) PFT i.e PULMONARY FUNCTION TESTS
once you get these tests done you can either send us a scanned copy of your reports or can visit a pulmonologist to evaluate your reports for making a precise diagnosis and prescribe the required treatment
