Suggest Medication For Chronic Diarrhea And Diverticulitis In An Elderly Person
I have explosive diarrhea 2 to 3 times a month. Usually during the night, lasts for 3 to 4 hours every 15 minutes or so. Similar to a colon cleans for a colonoscopy. Have forceful belching and bowel gas but no cramping, no pain, no nausea, no discomfort. Prior to attack I am very tired and bloated. Have recorded died for two years daily, been tested for parasites and two colonoscopies 4 years apart. Have some diverticulitis not uncommon to my age (72). This has been going on for 5 or more years and is certainly affecting my quality of life. I have even been caught short in the store. My doctor does not seem to have any suggestions or even very interested in helping me. anti-diarrhea pills seem to help during an attack. I try to take them only at the end after my system is empty of any stool which may be unhealthy or infected.
For chronic diarrhea take some antibiotic like norflox-tz or oflox-oz after an expert opinion along with meftal-spaz or cyclopam for abdominal pain. Take cap rekool-d or omez-d empty stomach for vomiting and gastric upset. Drink plenty of oral fluids to maintain the hydration of your body. Take nitazoxanode twice daily for 5 days to get rid of diarrhea completely.
