Suggest Medication For Chronic Insomnia

I m looking for a prescription sleep aid as i have trouble falling asleep I try to sleep but keep thinking of things i need to do or should do etc....any help.. a friend of mine told me he is taking something his doctor prescribed which he takes 30 minutes before bedtime and he falls asleep right away...

Hi,

Sleep disorders are unfortunately very common and lack of sleep can affect different aspects of a life.

You would need to see your doctor to get a prescription for a sleep aid.

There are some that are over the counter e.g. melatonin or some of the older antihistamines.
