Suggest Medication For Conjuctivitis

Hello,I have had pink eye or conjunctivitis for a week tomorrow in my left eye. A doctor told me that it is bacterial and not viral or allergy related. I have been using Polysporin eye/ear drops regularly and my left eye is completely a solid red in the what should be, white areas of my eye. I am worried that it will eventually spread but moreso worried and concerned about the length it is taking to "get better" when it feels as though it has not. Is there anything I can be doing?

Hello
Welcome to Health care Magic.

I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that you are having bacterial conjunctivitis. The treatment is by the use of antibiotic eye stood.
Polysporin is a antibiotic and it can be used for treatment. If there is no improvement then you need to change the antibiotic to broad spectrum ones like Moxifloxacin.
This will resolve by 1-2 weeks, hence no need to worry.

Hope this is helpful to you.
Do write back to me for further questions.
Thank you
